Due to the disproportionate orders placed in the butcher shop for orders of bacon, ham, and the other pork extras , the pork manager at Townsend has had to source its meat for these cuts from other sources other than the home farm. We still will use only the finest  pigs raised in Manitoba which are processed at a custom plant which is government inspected. The recipes for these cuts still use only the best local ingredients and are made using old fashioned traditional methods. We never use artificial flavourings or m.s.g. in any of our products.
